WHAT TO EXPECT: THE COLLISION SOLUTION EXPERIENCE

STAGE 1 – INTRODUCTION & ESTIMATE

Your Collision Solution experience begins with a professional welcome from our Customer Service Representatives. Our highly trained Estimators thoroughly analyze the collision-damaged vehicle using a systematic approach to achieve the most accurate estimate possible. The results of the inspection are accurately documented, photos of the vehicle are taken, and a repair plan is created. We listen to your needs and provide you with a detailed assessment and schedule regarding your vehicle’s repairs. We’ll coordinate with your insurance company to start your repairs as soon as possible. We’ll keep you going, arranging for your rental car and/or providing you with our courtesy shuttle service as needed.

STAGE 2 – TEARDOWN

The insurance company may request for teardown and disassembly of the vehicle to ensure all damage is documented accurately and determine if the vehicle is economic to repair. Often times there is hidden damage as a result of the collision that must be further analyzed to ensure a complete damage analysis and identify the full scope of necessary repairs.

STAGE 3 – PARTS

Once authorized by you and the insurer, parts are ordered as required by the repair plan. We strictly adhere to all collision repair-related laws and regulations, along with your insurance company’s parts replacement requirements, only utilizing OEM or reliable after-market parts. All parts are carefully inspected as part of our quality assurance process.

STAGE 4 – REPAIR & REBUILD

Our vehicle repair process starts with our certified Non-Structural Technicians, who perform repairs to sheet metal and plastic. Your vehicle then proceeds to our Steel Structural Technicians, who use state-of-the-art three-dimensional measuring systems to assess hidden frame collision-damage and provide precise frame adjustments. The Steel Structural Technicians also check specific points on your vehicle structure against the manufacturer’s specifications to ensure the frame is structurally safe and sound. The damaged parts are then repaired or replaced as appropriate. At this point, our highly trained Mechanical Technicians perform inspection, testing, cleaning and diagnostics of all mechanical and electrical components of your vehicle.

STAGE 5 – PREPPING & PAINTING

After repairs are complete, your vehicle moves to a clean room where our Refinish Technicians will carefully prepare the paintable surfaces to insure proper adhesion and a smooth finish. The areas to be painted are sanded and primed before painting. The Refinish Technicians use our top quality paint mixing system, a trained eye, and paint blending techniques to match your vehicle’s color precisely. Corrosion protection materials are also applied to protect your vehicle prior to applying the color or base coat, which is followed by a clear coat to protect the finish. After curing, the painted surfaces are polished to a glossy finish.

STAGE 6 – REASSEMBLY & RESTORATION

After painting, your vehicle then moves to our certified Body Technicians for final reassembly. Additional mechanical and electrical components that were removed or disconnected to facilitate repairs are reinstalled and restored to their original location per factory specifications. Any new glass that is needed is usually installed at this point. If necessary, wheel alignment is performed to ensure that the steering and suspension are aligned properly after the repairs. As part of our quality assurance process your vehicle receives a test drive.

STAGE 7 – DETAILING & DELIVERY

Then, we contact you and ensure you have transportation to our facility to take delivery of your vehicle, or if needed, we will deliver it to your home or place of business. From start to finish, your vehicle receives first class treatment.
